Rescue Diver
The PADI Rescue Diver course reinforces all of the basics of safe diving practices, expands your ability to care for yourself in the water and introduces you to the skills necessary to assist another diver both on the surface and underwater. Divers who frequently travel by themselves and always have new buddies or divers who simply desire to have a little more control over the situations around them should definitely enroll themselves in this course.
The Rescue Diver is one of the most enjoyable courses divers take because a portion of the course is spent role-playing accident scenarios and practicing your skills at assisting others. In the end, those same skills also help you become a safer diver as well.
Many divers believe that the Rescue Diver should be the minimum certification goal for all divers. As they bring their friends and families into the sport these new divers are encouraged to reach this level.
